This is gold!

I often think “wouldn’t it be nice to not have to think about stocking the fridge, paying bills, doing the laundry, (insert anything and everything else) so I could just focus.”

I just need to be in the bubble. Unapologetically.

I could choose to be in the bubble during the day and other tasks can fall outside of the time I clock out. Because perhaps it’s easier for me to do a load of laundry than start on the scary new project. 😨

This is a huge struggle for me. I have two kids 100% of the time, solo. And they’re homeschooled, so I really do mean we’re together all day every day. They’ll go to camp for three weeks. I will write with focus then.

I love our house but my home office is in an open loft overlooking the living room, and I have to send them into a room with a door that closes when I really need privacy.

Next home office will have a door that closes.

I have also found I can plunk down by the fire and work for prolonged periods!
